Why do this course?
You will learn to identify and control hazards, plan the work, enter and work in confined spaces, work as specified on a Confined Space Entry Permit, gas test the atmosphere, and perform tasks in an environment where breathing apparatus is not required.
This course does not cover the requirements for supervising confined space entry or issuing work permits. Successful completion of this course is considered a requirement for those needing to work in confined spaces in accordance with Australian Standard 2865.2009.

Site Safety Services (AUS) conducts the training and assessment for this course to meet or exceed any required quality and legislative requirements.
English Literacy
Candidates must be able to read and converse in English (without an interpreter or phone translator app.) in order to undertake this course of study.
